Wasaka Museum is the only museum in the city of Banjarmasin, for those who want to visit this city. Its recently renovated by the Banjarmasin City Government. If you travel only in Banjarmasin, Museum Wasaka can be another option after visiting the Floating Market. It's located right next to the Banua Anyway bridge, Sei Lulut River. Last week i visited this museum and found some interesting lessons for learning a little bit history of Banjarmasin.

Teh Gunung Satria; A Tea from South Borneo

In South Borneo, there is no tea plantation fields but we have an original tea product called Teh Gunung Satria. This sounds funny when we don't have any resource to make our own tea products in our land, but there is a factory that producing various tea products from another provinces such as west Java and then a factory from Banjarmasin remake a tea that they call Teh Gunung Satria.

Teh Gunung Satria is different than other Indonesia original tea products, TGS has particular fragranct aroma that make this tea is known as alternative tea in many South Borneo warung. At least there are two flavour of this tea. Melati and Wangi tea.

If you want to taste this tea, i sell the products online, usually people from another regions that taste this tea want to drink this tea again. So, if you are interested, you can check the prices at this link:

Reside in southern most of Banjarmasin city, exactly in the Kuin River. The “Floating Market” was existing very early in that territory. Floating Market opened it activity just at dawn about 04.00 am. until 07.00 am.
